The Role
About the Role
fj Oilfield Chemicals Commercial Advisor will drive commercial growth for the ENSC and SSA regions by leading the following activities:
- Tendering & Proposal Development
- Commercial Modelling & Pricing Strategy
- Commercial Execution
This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Commercial Operations, Product Line/Segment, and Regional Teams to achieve profitable growth, higher bid win rates, and regulatory-compliant execution throughout the tender lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate commercial and tendering activities across ENSC and SSA regions.
- Develop and maintain commercial models for pricing strategy, bid profitability assessments, and tender success.
- Create competitive and innovative proposals tailored for business opportunities.
- Provide market and product line expertise during bid strategies and commercial negotiations.
- Conduct commercial risk assessments and ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and risk policies.
- Support pipeline reviews, forecasting, and tender governance processes.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required in:
- Engineering
- Chemistry
- Business
- Related discipline
- At least 5 years‘ experience in the oilfield chemicals industry—ideally experience supporting ENSC and/or SSA markets.
- Strong technical and domain expertise in oilfield chemicals applications and product offerings.
- Proven record in commercial strategy, tendering, pricing, or account management.
- Deep understanding of commercial terms, financial modelling, pricing frameworks, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage across multiple markets and functions.
