Sales Advisor - Proposals (Oilfield Chemicals Commercial Advisor) – ENSC & SSA

Partnering with customers worldwide, we deliver cutting-edge solutions to make energy production safer, cleaner, and more efficient. Our team, operating in over 120 countries, merges industrial expertise, engineering, and digital innovation, empowering energy transformation and decarbonization.
Fuel your passion by shaping strategic commercial growth for the Oilfield Chemicals product line. Lead tender development, pricing optimisation, and proposal execution to maximise profitability, improve bid win rates, and ensure recurrent compliance across ENSC and SSA regions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate commercial and tendering activities for Oilfield Chemicals opportunities spanning ENSC & SSA.
- Build and refine commercial models supporting:
- Complex tender assessments
- Pricing strategies
- Profitability evaluations
- Develop competitive proposals, innovative pricing structures, and contract recommendations.
- Contribute product and market expertise to bid strategies and commercial negotiations.
- Conduct commercial risk assessments ensuring compliance with:
- Company commercial policies
- Legal frameworks
- Risk mitigation protocols
- Support opportunity pipeline reviews, forecasting, and tender governance processes.

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Engineering
- Chemistry
- Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Oilfield Chemicals industry (ideally with ENSC/SSA market exposure).
Core Competencies
- Technical & domain expertise in:
- Oilfield Chemicals applications
- Product portfolio offerings
- Proven experience in:
- Commercial strategy
- Tendering processes
- Sales & pricing analysis
- Account management
- Deep understanding of:
- Contract negotiations
- Financial modeling
- Risk assessment
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate across multiple regions and functions.
