We’re iD Mobile, one of the UK’s leading mobile virtual network operators. We launched in May 2015 and have over 2.6 million Pay Monthly customers. We’re pretty sure our success has a lot to do with our wide range of feature-packed plans. We offer everything from super-value Pay-as-you-go and SIM-only deals, right up to the latest smartphones from the big-name manufacturers. We’re delighted about our success so far and have very ambitious plans for the future.
iD Mobile is an exciting place to work. We’re a relatively young and dynamic start-up, and we value innovation, imagination, and creativity. If you’ve got a great idea, we’ll help you run with it. We’re passionate about finding new ways to address our customers’ needs. We’re a little different to other start-ups, though, because we’re part of Currys PLC, Europe's leading electrical and mobile retailer. So, while iD Mobile has only been going for a few years, we’re part of a much bigger family.
The Commercial Analyst plays a key supporting role within the iD Mobile Commercial Team, operating at the centre of the business and gaining exposure to a broad range of functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their commercial career in a dynamic environment. The role will support the management of our network partner, VodafoneThree, and be responsible for producing commercial reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to support performance tracking and decision making.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Finance, Marketing, Customer, Trading, and Operations, as well as colleagues across the wider iD Mobile and Currys businesses. Developing strong cross functional relationships will be key to succeeding in this role and delivering commercial priorities effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
