Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation who are seeking to appoint a Commercial Assistant to join their commercial team.
Based in Cheshire, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced commercial environment.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting commercial decision-making.

Job Duties:
- Maintain and update pricing models, including cost and FX adjustments.
- Support the preparation and distribution of customer price lists.
- Carry out pricing validation, ASP checks and price/volume analysis.
- Assist with costing requests and blend cost calculations.
- Produce regular commercial reports, including daily sales reporting and performance analysis.
- Analyse commercial data using Excel to support business decision-making.
- Monitor market pricing information and maintain costing sheets.
- Assist with margin tracking and profitability analysis.
- Manage incoming commercial queries and support commercial administration activities.
- Update internal systems, trackers and reporting tools.
- Maintain accurate records relating to pricing changes, trials and commercial activities.
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from the wider commercial team.

Ideal Experience:
- Previous experience within a commercial, analytical, administrative or business support role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
- Competent across the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive, positive and team-orientated approach.
- Understanding of commercial principles and profitability management would be advantageous.
- Experience using SharePoint would be beneficial.
