Role Profile

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic entry-level professional to assist in generating new business opportunities through proactive cold calling and lead generation efforts. This role will contribute to the growth and success of our consulting business, focusing on small to medium-sized engagements brought in via VAR, Managed Services, and partners. You will work alongside our existing sales team to learn and share account opportunities while enhancing visibility for Advania UK.

The salary for this role is £30,000 base per annum with an OTE of £60,000

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive cold calling and lead generation.
  • Manage small to medium-sized engagements brought in through VAR, Managed Services, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share account opportunities and strategies.
  • Provide administration support to the Consulting Sales and Bid team, navigating internal systems and partner portals.
  • Enhance visibility of Advania UK, driving effective engagements with vendors and clients alike.
  • Meet or exceed monthly lead generation targets through both inbound and outreach activities.
  • Ensure leads generated are qualified and relevant to the consulting services offered.
  • Build relationships with potential clients through effective communication and follow-up strategies.
  • Carry a sales quota, ensuring that targets are met through collaboration, administration, and pipeline management.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls made and leads generated, providing regular updates to the sales team.

Qualifications and Experience

This is an entry-level Sales role, whereby the successful individual will join our Consulting Associate Programme attending our Manchester offices 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) as part of our wider Consulting Associate cohort.

  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Sales Orientation: Understanding of sales principles and techniques, particularly in lead generation.
  • Resilience and Perseverance: Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated in a performance-driven environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Curiosity: A desire to check understanding, question processes for improvement, and empathize with clients' positions.
  • Research Skills: Ability to think about what matters to clients in their verticals and size segmentation, providing assistance to improve campaign effectiveness.
