It is present in over 100 countries with over 23,000 employees worldwide. Overview Role Overview We're on the lookout for a Commercial Associate Director to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director, the Associate Commercial Director will play a key role in coordinating and owning all commercial information across global markets for high-profile clients. The Associate Commercial Director will facilitate a unique role in the team acting as the Commercial Lead on small-medium sized pitches and the support on the biggest pitches within Publicis Media. They will also act as the Commercial Lead for some of our existing clients, being the main point of contact for clients of various sizes. This is a hands-on role requiring strong teamwork, proactivity, and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across international teams. Responsibilities Act as the Commercial Lead on existing clients within Publicis Media, responsible for maintaining the commercial relationship with the Procurement Lead Act as escalation point for all commercial matters (clarifications, market queries etc) with support from the Commercial Manager. Manage all commercial negotiations from a Global level, supporting markets and Global teams where necessary by attending client and internal calls. Prepare reports for, and present in ad hoc, monthly, bi-annual, and annual client meetings. Ownership with Legal on commercial contracts and client procurement discussions, ensuring effective communication and adherence to commercial principals in markets. Oversee scopes of work with Client Directors, ensuring out-of-scope work is captured, costed, and flagged. Attend regular client calls with Media Leads & Procurement. Creation of proactive growth plans. Lead smaller Global and / or Regional pitches with the support of a Commercial Manager, responsible for developing the commercial strategy and direction of the pitch on smaller pitches. Coordination of pitch offers with internal departments including new business, I&A and client teams. Ownership of all relevant documentation supporting our submission. Qualifications Please note this is not a commercial finance role. This position sits within commercial strategy and business development. Media agency experience in a Senior Commercial Manager, Associate Director or similar type role. Strong understanding of the pitch and commercial strategy process within Media. Strong client management, relationship building and influencing skills. Strong quantitative and negotiation skills, with a understanding of media agency dynamics and contracts. Proficiency in data management and Excel (including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot tables); VBA skills are a plus. Exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and time management for handling multiple tasks.
