The team
RPC has one of the largest dedicated disputes teams in the market, acting on large-scale disputes originating across the world. Described by The Lawyer as "heavyweight" in its UK Litigation Top 50 Report (2025), our premium commercial litigation practice is recognised as market leading (Legal 500 2026, Commercial litigation: premium). Our commercial and banking disputes team works across a range of disputes including financial markets, fraud, commercial arbitration, company and shareholder disputes and claimant competition claims.

The role
We are seeking an associate with deep disputes expertise and a passion for disputes work who is looking to build a long-term career within the team.
You should have c. 3-4 years' post qualification experience.
You will work across a broad range of commercial and banking disputes with exposure to complex, high-value and often multi-jurisdictional matters. The work is varied, challenging and rewarding, with meaningful responsibility and close partner support.

Experience in international arbitration would be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- 3-4 years of PQE; you will be able to apply deep technical knowledge and expertise with appropriate supervision.
- Delivers legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
- Supports the team to manage the client experience, develops trusted relationships and interacts with clients confidently to achieve the best outcome for the client.
- Committed to business development to further grow their network and the practice.
- Works efficiently and commercially and understands the importance of financial hygiene.
- Understands how to develop junior team members and support their ambitions.
- Committed to being part of a supportive, inclusive and collaborative firm culture.
