I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
- Execute the property-side go-to-market strategy by identifying and closing high-value partnerships with major UK Build-to-Rent (BTR) operators and institutional landlords.
- Translate complex fintech and loyalty capabilities into a compelling commercial value proposition that focuses on resident retention, portfolio performance, and Net Operating Income.
- Manage the entire commercial lifecycle from initial door-opening via your existing network to contract execution and long-term strategic relationship management.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses senior leadership experience (Director level or higher) within a major UK BTR operator or has successfully managed a P&L for a large-scale property business.
- Brings an established "warm rolodex" of institutional property operator contacts, enabling immediate peer-to-peer engagement without the need for cold introductions.
- Demonstrates a proven track record of personally closing significant commercial deals and exhibits the gritty, builder mentality required to scale an early-stage startup.
