We are seeking a UK-qualified Commercial / Contracts Solicitor

With approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to support a fixed-term strategic project. The successful candidate will provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across a range of contractual and business matters, working closely with stakeholders to deliver project objectives within agreed timescales. This role is for an immediate start in July 2026.

Role details

This role will sit within the in-house Legal team (which currently comprises of the General Counsel and a Paralegal) and is ideal for a solicitor who is comfortable operating independently, managing multiple workstreams, and providing practical legal solutions in a fast-paced environment while benefitting from the support and collaboration of a small team.

Where you'll be working

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is hybrid with 3 days per week working in our Waterloo office and 2 days working from home.

What you'll be doing

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to:
    • Supply and services agreements
    • Software and technology contracts
    • Procurement and outsourcing arrangements
  • Provide legal support to project teams and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage legal and commercial risks associated with contractual arrangements.
  • Assist with contract governance, compliance, and risk management processes.
  • Deliver clear, practical legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Manage and advise on emerging commercial disputes, for example where fees are due to the company.
  • Liaise with external counsel where necessary.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
