Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Conveyancing Consultant (7+ PQE) based in Leighton Buzzard. The Consultant will manage an existing caseload of commercial property transactions, supported by a full-time experienced assistant.

Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, leases, and related documents
- Carry out due diligence
- Liaise with clients, lenders, agents, and other solicitors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards
- Advise clients on commercial property issues
- Resolve queries
- Negotiate terms
- Maintain accurate records and file management
- Contribute to business development activities
- Support colleagues where needed
- Promote the firm’s commitment to personal, client-focused service
Qualifications & Skills
Core Requirements
- Analytical skills for reviewing complex commercial property documentation and providing clear, reasoned advice
- Consulting capabilities, including client advisory skills, problem-solving, and tailoring solutions to diverse commercial needs
- Commercial management skills, such as handling transaction timelines and coordinating stakeholders
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) for drafting precise legal documents and maintaining professional relationships
- Business development awareness to help grow the commercial conveyancing practice and build long-term client relationships
- In-depth knowledge of UK commercial property law and relevant regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
