Job Duties & Responsibilities

The role supports the Senior Commercial Coordinator in managing the Nissan business account by ensuring accurate pricing, cost analysis, and account profitability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing & Analysing Quotations

    • Full preparation, analysis, and submission of VFI/VE (Value Engineering/Value Analysis) quotations
    • Proposals for cost reduction initiatives and RFQs (Request for Quotations)
  • Meeting Sales & Support Commitments

    • Handling trial, service part, and order communications
    • Managing customer enquiries via email/telephone as the sole point of contact
    • Ensuring on-time deliveries through coordination with internal teams

  • Pricing & Reporting

    • Managing quotation creation, price tracking, and month-end reports
    • Conducting margin checks to improve/problem-maintain profitability
    • Collaborating with accounts teams to verify invoice pricing and purchase orders
    • Managing zero-priced parts
  • Account & Process Management

    • Supporting the Deputy Sales Account Manager with analyses, data downloads, and ad hoc studies
    • Continuous department efficiency improvements
  • Data Control & Systems Upkeep

    • Maintenance and oversight of internal auditing systems
  • Additional Duties

    • Execution of other comparable tasks as directed by the manager

Required Skills, Qualifications, & Experience

Core Requirements

  • Basic financial and pricing knowledge
  • Sales/administrative/customer service/internal account management experience
  • Fluent written and spoken English (essential for both verbal and written communication)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail in data handling and reporting
  • Current, valid UK driving licence
