Who are we?
Zora Ecosystems (ZE) is a leading tech-enabled developer of high-integrity nature restoration projects. With significant traction, including 37 live projects (4,700 ha), 100,000 hectares of contracted properties and a 600,000-hectare pipeline in the UK, ZE is poised to scale rapidly. The company leverages proprietary technology and cutting-edge applied science to source, design, and deliver large-scale ecosystem restoration while solving key challenges in the emerging natural capital markets.
We want to continue to expand our networks across the UK and beyond, with an ongoing focus to originate high-quality projects that deliver measurable environmental impact and long-term value for landowners, investors and communities.
Your mission
As a Commercial Delivery Intern at ZE, you will support a dynamic team focused on strengthening our commercial pipeline and delivering high-quality collateral and tools for a cross-functional set of stakeholders. You have a genuine passion for the natural world and a personal commitment to tackling the climate and nature crises. You bring a strong understanding of ecosystem markets - including carbon, biodiversity, BNG, and water risk - and are hungry to deepen that knowledge through hands-on work. You're a rigorous, curious analyst who can gather information from disparate sources, sense-check it critically, and synthesize it into clear, usable outputs. You're comfortable working independently, taking ownership of your work, and holding yourself to a high standard.

You will help prepare commercial materials, turn data into actionable insights, and support marketing activities. This role suits someone from a business, engineering, geography, environmental science, or related background who enjoys variety - balancing geospatial analysis, data management, report writing, and pitch deck creation - and is motivated by making a tangible impact on nature.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
