About The Role
NCH Industrial, part of Solenis Light Industrial Solutions, is seeking a Commercial Development Manager to support strategic commercial initiatives that drive growth, improve operational effectiveness and strengthen customer relationships across our European industrial business.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and execution. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help translate data, insights and market opportunities into practical actions that improve sales performance, margin and customer retention.
You will collaborate with commercial leaders, country organisations and field teams to identify improvement opportunities, support key commercial initiatives and contribute to the modernisation of processes within a traditionally field-driven industrial business.
This position offers high visibility and direct exposure to senior leadership, providing an excellent development opportunity for professionals who want to build a long-term career in commercial leadership within an international B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Projects & Business Impact
- Support and lead commercial initiatives that contribute to sales growth, margin improvement and stronger customer retention.
- Translate analysis and commercial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for sales, operations and product teams.
- Work closely with country organisations and field sales teams to identify commercial opportunities and address operational challenges.
- Monitor the progress and impact of commercial initiatives and support continuous improvement.

Commercial Excellence
- Contribute to improving commercial tools, processes and ways of working that increase sales effectiveness and operational consistency.
- Help embed best practices across regions through practical tools, frameworks and collaboration with local teams.
Portfolio Development
- Support product launches and portfolio reviews by analysing positioning, pricing and market opportunities.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at maximising adoption, revenue and profitability across the portfolio.
Corporate Accounts Development
- Support the development of the global corporate accounts strategy.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Accounts team on target account identification and strategic account planning.
- Contribute to commercial proposals, customer reviews and strategic initiatives for key accounts.
Digital & Service Innovation
- Support the rollout and adoption of digital and self-service solutions designed to improve customer experience and service efficiency.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving service processes and operational performance.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science or a related field.
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally in an international or corporate environment.
- Experience in B2B, industrial environments, consulting, commercial analysis, sales operations or project roles is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and commercial metrics.
- Understanding of basic commercial and financial concepts (pricing, margin, sales performance).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions and regions.
- Curiosity, initiative and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Comfortable working with both analytical tasks and cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
