The Commercial Development Manager

The Commercial Development Manager supports the Sales Director in executing the sector sales strategy, driving growth through effective account management, team leadership, and customer engagement. This role plays a key part in developing customer relationships and unlocking new market opportunities.

The Role

  • Support the implementation of sector sales strategies within the Key Account Manager/Sales Account Manager team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to drive high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Lead the development and execution of customer account plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing, category, and commercial teams on go-to-market activities.
  • Monitor sales performance and KPIs, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Support customer pricing strategy in collaboration with the Commercial team.
  • Engage with major projects and key opportunities within the sector.
  • Support sales forecasting and contribute to the S&OP process
