Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Marketing and Digital Partner, you will lead and grow our ecommerce business, identifying opportunities to increase sales, improve customer experience and drive commercial success. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining digital expertise, commercial thinking and data analysis to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the ecommerce platform and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Developing and implementing customer acquisition, retention and trade account growth initiatives.
- Improving website performance, conversion rates and overall customer experience.
- Managing product information, pricing, catalogue structure and data accuracy.
- Analysing sales, customer and website data to identify commercial opportunities and support decision-making.
- Building and maintaining reporting dashboards, KPIs and management information.
- Utilising CRM, ERP and ecommerce systems to improve efficiency and commercial performance.
- Leading customer service and sales support activities to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identifying new revenue opportunities, product categories and service offerings.
- Working with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external partners to deliver business growth initiatives.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience driving growth within a B2B ecommerce, sales or commercial environment.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering revenue growth and improving commercial performance.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Experience developing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Experience managing product data, catalogues and ecommerce platforms.
- Proficient in using spreadsheets, CRM, ERP and ecommerce systems.
- Strong Google Analytics experience.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver measurable results.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Desirable Experience
- Experience within engineering, hydraulics, fluid power, industrial distribution or technical product sectors.
- Experience with Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce or similar ecommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO, conversion optimisation and ecommerce best practices.
- Experience managing external agencies and third-party partners.
- Understanding of AI, automation and digital transformation technologies.
