Commercial Director – VOL Magazine & L’Odyssee
Position Overvie wThe Commercial Director will oversee all commercial and revenue-generating activities across VOL’s print and digital platforms, the VOL Online Shop, and the L’Odyssee Membership and Card program .This role is responsible for building strategic partnerships, driving advertising and retail sales, expanding membership revenue, and positioning VOL and L’Odyssee as flagship lifestyle brands under the Insignia ecosystem .The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in luxury publishing, digital commerce, and high-end membership sales, with the ability to balance creativity, brand alignment, and commercial performance
. Key Responsibiliti es1. Advertising & Sponsorship Sal esDevelop and execute the global advertising sales strategy across VOL’s print, digital, and social platform s.Secure high-value advertising and brand partnership agreements with luxury brands across fashion, art, travel, and lifestyle sector s.Build and maintain long-term relationships with premium clients and agencie s.Create and manage media kits, rate cards, and sponsorship packages aligned with VOL’s brand positionin g.Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to ensure advertising integrates seamlessly with brand storytellin

Distribution & Circulat ionOversee the global distribution network of VOL Magazine through luxury hotels, private clubs, boutiques, yachts, airlines, and strategic retail partne rs.Develop distribution partnerships that reinforce brand prestige and visibility among UHNW and corporate audienc es.Track and analyse performance metrics related to reach, circulation, and engageme nt.Explore opportunities for co-branded distribution, including events and VIP gifti

VOL Online Shop – Commercial Gr owthLead the commercial expansion of the VOL Online Shop, focusing on exclusive collaborations, curated luxury products, and capsule collecti ons.Negotiate partnerships with luxury brands, designers, and artisans for unique e-commerce offeri ngs.Oversee pricing, merchandising, and promotions to optimize revenue and brand consiste ncy.Ensure a seamless integration between the online shopping experience and VOL’s editorial storytell

L’Odyssee Membership & Card SalesDesign and implement the sales and partnership strategy for the L’Odyssee Membership and Card.Identify and convert UHNW and corporate clients through direct sales, events, and strategic partners hips.Work with marketing and Insignia’s concierge teams to create tailored membership packages and loyalty prog rams.Develop incentive structures, referral programs, and collaborations that enhance membership growth and engage ment.Represent L’Odyssee at high-profile events, forums, and exhibitions to attract new members and part
ners. 5. Strategy & Lead ershipDefine and achieve annual revenue targets across all business lines — advertising, e-commerce, membership, and partner ships.Provide quarterly reports and forecasts to the Board, highlighting performance, growth opportunities, and strategic recommenda tions.Build and lead a high-performing commercial team with clear KPIs and accountab ility.Work closely with Insignia Group’s finance, marketing, and operations departments to ensure cross-brand synergies and consistent mess
