About the Role
Are you commercially minded with a passion for improving marketing performance? We’re looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to support the growth of our Marketing Effectiveness business across West Europe.

Reporting to the Western European Marketing Effectiveness Leader, you’ll play a central role in driving client adoption of NielsenIQ’s solutions, including:
- MMM (Marketing Mix Modelling)
- Matched Panel Testing
- NIQ’s AI-enabled system: Cadence
Key Focus Areas:
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams to identify and nurture opportunities.
- Develop and lead compelling proposals.
- Guide clients toward the right solutions for their needs.
- Contribute to revenue growth and position NielsenIQ as a trusted media effectiveness partner. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives on collaboration, influence, and turning opportunities into results.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth
- Identify and activate opportunities to grow adoption of MMM and Media Experiments solutions.
- Provide strategic input and expertise to support sales teams, including:
- Developing targeted activation plans.
- Engaging local sales teams and clients.
- Ensuring strong positioning and influence during RFP and renewal processes.
Strengthen Client Relationships
- Act as a trusted client advisor, helping them understand how Marketing Effectiveness capabilities can address business challenges and deliver measurable impact.
- Prepare high-quality, high-value responses to RFIs (Request for Information), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and other proposals to:
- Craft pitches that differentiate NielsenIQ in the market.
- Remain laser-focused on meeting client goals.

- Ensure stakeholders are equipped to confidently position and promote offerings.

Enable Team Collaboration
- Share knowledge, insights, and best practices to foster alignment and collective success.

Core KPIs
To measure success in this role, you will be evaluated on the following metrics:
- Revenue Achievement
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin targets through strategic client engagement and solution alignment.
- Client Conversion
- Drive adoption of NielsenIQ’s Marketing Effectiveness solutions by identifying opportunities and influencing decision-makers across key accounts.
- Engagement Excellence
- Deliver compelling pitches and proposals that resonate with client needs, contributing to high engagement and conversion rates.
- Knowledge Sharing
- Actively contribute to internal initiatives by sharing expertise, fostering collaboration, and supporting team development.
- Visibility and Awareness
- Elevate product visibility through impactful presentations, industry events, and high-quality sales materials.
Qualifications
Successfully execute in this role by meeting the following requirements:
- Proven sales success in securing large MMM/Marketing Effectiveness programs, including:
- Experience in leading high-value pitches, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Previous experience in:
- Consulting, analytics, or consumer research roles.
- Focused on Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and Media Experiments.
- Deep knowledge of media evaluation, with the ability to apply insights to real-world client challenges.
- Business development skills, including:
- Ability to identify client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Thought leadership demonstrated through:
- Clear point of view on media strategy.
- Experience presenting at events or webinars (a plus).
- Familiarity with:
- Sales processes and tools.
- Hands-on experience in proposal development (essential).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to:
- Influence senior stakeholders.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Language skills:
- Fluency in English required.
- German language, a plus.
