About Wrisk
Wrisk is transforming insurance for the digital age, making it simpler, more transparent, and more relevant to customers. We combine technology, deep insurance capability, and rich data to help leading global brands build and operate embedded insurance propositions. Our platform supports the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition and quotation through to policy management, renewals, and ongoing portfolio optimization.
As Wrisk continues to scale its Platform as a Service offering across the UK and Europe, we are seeking a seasoned commercial leader to drive our next phase of growth.
The Role at a Glance
We are looking for a strong Commercial Director to lead strategic client relationships, shape new propositions, and accelerate sustainable revenue growth for Wrisk’s PaaS business across the UK and Europe.
This is not a traditional sales or relationship management role. It sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, client leadership, platform delivery, and proposition development.
You will work with strategic partners across their entire lifecycle—from shaping pre-sales opportunities and structuring commercially viable deals to managing deployment and unlocking long-term account value. If you are a mature, calm, and structured executive who challenges ambiguity, takes deep ownership of client ecosystems, and turns complex market opportunities into scalable momentum, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Drive Commercial Growth & Market Expansion
- Pipeline & Deal Leadership: Identify, shape, and progress strategic PaaS opportunities across the UK and European markets
- High-Impact Negotiations: Lead client discovery, executive proposition workshops, and complex commercial negotiations—ensuring deals are commercially attractive, operationally viable, and aligned with Wrisk’s platform strategy
- Strategy & Repeatability: Help shape Wrisk’s overall PaaS commercial model, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approach by synthesizing real-time client and market feedback into scalable product requirements
Own Strategic Client Relationships & Account Value
- Executive Account Governance: Own a high-value portfolio of PaaS clients from initial engagement through deployment, launch, expansion, and multi-year renewals
- C-Suite Advisory: Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, leading executive reviews, joint account planning, and strategic QBR
- Expansion & Upsell: Leverage platform usage data, operational metrics, and commercial insights to spot new growth vectors, introduce additional modules, and expand into new geographic markets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
