Litigation Partner – Commercial Disputes

The Role

William James Recruitment is instructed on a confidential Partner-level opportunity with a rapidly expanding international law firm, recognised for its market-leading litigation, white-collar defence and corporate advisory practices.

The firm is a full-service US law firm with offices across the United States and a recently launched London office established to meet increasing client demand. The London disputes practice focuses on high-value, complex matters and combines the depth, international reach and brand strength of a major US platform with the agility and autonomy of a boutique team.

The firm advises on sophisticated commercial litigation, civil fraud, white-collar matters, corporate investigations and cross-border disputes for a blue-chip international client base. The platform is deliberately open to a range of disputes specialisms and welcomes Partners with established practices across commercial litigation, civil fraud, white collar crime and related contentious areas, including niche or specialist practices that complement the existing offering.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
