Cotswold Energy Group is an exciting, profitable company within a large growth sector supplying decarbonisation solutions to the domestic and commercial markets.
The company was founded by three childhood friends with the ethos of providing straightforward, transparent solutions to help customers harness the benefits of renewable technologies. As we have grown, this ethos has stayed at the heart of how we operate, and we promote a culture of support and togetherness whilst striving to be the best in the category.
We design and install renewable energy technologies, including ASHP, GSHP, WSHP and Solar PV, along with all associated building services.
We work with both Public and Private Sector clients, and our projects range from domestic residences through to commercial buildings, leisure centres, and education facilities.
Cotswold Energy is an innovative company that is centred on decarbonisation of both the domestic and commercial markets, focusing on building improvements through a comprehensive renewable energy offering.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of electrical works, with a primary focus on renewable energy projects. This role encompasses reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installations of varying scales across commercial and industrial sites. The position requires proficiency in both single and three-phase systems, as well as control systems, with a steadfast commitment to upholding current electrical regulations and health and safety standards. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for an individual who excels both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, professional service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
