Turn Numbers into Business Success

Do you love working with data, pricing and commercial analysis? Are you someone who enjoys building accurate estimates, influencing commercial decisions and uncovering opportunities to improve profitability?

If you're looking for a role where your analytical skills genuinely make a difference, this could be the perfect opportunity.

My client is looking for a commercially minded Commercial Estimator & Business Analyst to join a successful and growing manufacturing business. Working alongside the current Commercial manager, you'll play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, producing competitive quotations and tenders, and delivering valuable commercial insight that helps drive business performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with Excel and data, and wants to see the impact of their work on the success of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You'll combine estimating, pricing and commercial analysis to support both customers and the wider business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing accurate customer quotations and pricing proposals.
  • Producing detailed cost estimates for major tenders and new business opportunities.
  • Analysing sales performance, margins and customer profitability to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Supporting pricing strategy by maintaining and developing pricing models and databases.
  • Producing insightful commercial reports that influence business decisions.
  • Providing meaningful analysis for customer reviews and commercial negotiations.
  • Validating invoice pricing to ensure commercial accuracy.
  • Working closely with Sales, Operations and Commercial colleagues to deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
