Role Overview
Location: Wokingham, Hybrid (Pinewood → Maidenhead), 1-year fixed-term contract Job Function: Sales Enablement Type: Hybrid Early Stage Guarantee: N/A
You will join the Ethicon Business Team as a Commercial Excellence Analyst, driving profitable sales growth by providing actionable insights into tender, framework, and commercial opportunities. Your work will influence key decisions and strategies—supporting Sales, Commercial, Marketing, IT, and Finance teams—while ensuring robust technical capabilities keep the business advancing.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissions & Reporting:
- Accurately calculate Sales & Marketing team commissions, submitting reports on time to align with Finance timetables.
- Analytical Support:
- Assist Commercial, Sales, and Marketing teams with ad hoc analytical requirements.
- Handle ad-hoc analytical needs for the Commex Manager/Lead.
- Data & Knowledge Management:
- Configure territory and product mappings in OneForce & Hubble for UK & Ireland to ensure transparent reporting.
- Collaborate with office-wide Commex Functions, sharing best practices and aligning processes, tools, and systems.
- Contract Compliance & Spend Control:
- Provide data to support Sales & Commercial teams in ensuring 100% contract compliance (spend/volume).
- Process Improvements & Team Collaboration:
- Lead-and-participate in projects and improvements to optimise sales functionalities.
- Proactively advance the UK/IRE Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) strategy, embedding critical "Commex processes."

Required Profile
Technical Skills
- Analytical & Number-Cruncher:
- Strong numeric reasoning, problem-solving, and data reconciliation (internal/external sources).
- Database & Tools Expertise:
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel (advanced).
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook mandatory.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Qlik, Tableau, PowerBi—preferred.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge:
- Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical sector experience with healthcare market understanding.
