Role Overview
This Hybrid role report to Maidenhead (“Pinewood” office currently) supports the Ethicon Business Team, a critical component of Johnson & Johnson’s commercial growth, with data-powered insights to drive profitable sales and strategy.
You’ll partner closely with Sales, Commercial, Marketing, IT and Finance teams as a trusted business analyst. Collaboratively you will deliver world-class analytics and capability development, enabling decision-making and ensuring internal/external data harmony facilitates profitability and strategic execution.

- Sales Force Remuneration
- Ensure 100% accuracy in calculating and distributing annual commission payouts for the Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams, aligning with Finance timelines.

Commercial Intelligence & Reporting
- Support ad-hoc commercial needs across Sales, Commercial and Marketing, resolving challenging analytical requests.
- Assist the Commercial Manager/Lead with technical, high-impact analytical briefs.

Data Integration & Process
- Oversee implementation of territory/product mapping to guarantee precise financial and performance reporting using Johnson & Johnson’s commercial systems (e.g., One Force and Hubble for the UK/IRE markets).
- Maintain functional compliance workflows for spend/volume metrics interacting with Commercial and Sales.

Stakeholder Relations & Knowledge Sharing
- Establish trusted working relationships nationwide with MD Commex Functions, institutionalizing best practices across internal systems like methodologies, SOPs, and tools for cross-office alignment.
Process Improvement & Strategic Support

Operational Excellence
- Lead and collaborate on process re-engineering and improvement projects, enhancing efficiency and broadening analytical capability.

Sales Force Field Enablement (SFE)
- Proactively identify and align atendering holes in sales operations to strengthen adoption of core Commercially Enabling Processes (CMEs).

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present insights and recommendations risks business opportunities to key stakeholders.
Ideal Applicant Profile
Required
- Highly numerate with advanced analytical/solving skills—including concisely comparing and reconciling internal and external data sources.
- Strong Excel proficiency (e.g. pivot tables, data modelling, macros uploads) essential for advanced Set-Up and communications.
- Sophisticated tech acumen for large-scale CRM and data platforms – CRMs (SFA, CadientOne, SAP), spreadsheets, SQL (or equivalent scripting/shaping), tableurs Qlik Visualisation Tools-preferably QlikView, Tableau or PowerBI.
- Proven medical devices/pharma experience with healthcare ecosystem knowledge helpful.
- Comfort with operational execution across technical/provenance groups, requiring collaborative autonomy.
- Data proficiency to translate complex datasets to actionable insights and present findings confidently and alignment with business objectives.
- Undergraduate degree in technical subject (Science, Business, Economics, similar or data-related) encouraging progression.
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-detail corporate environment meeting tight deadlines and navigating competing priorities.
