We are actively seeking an entrepreneurial Commercial Excellence Manager to scale-up Humatica’s private equity growth story globally.
Humatica is the most awarded specialist advisor helping private equity funds and entrepreneurial portfolio company leaders to build strong organisations that deliver value growth.
Working with over 275 portfolio companies and 60 top funds for over 20 years, we have uniquely codified the management practices and operating models that drive value creation. Our AI-ready tools, structured services and data enable private equity backed organizations to achieve stretch goals.
We work across all industries predominantly in Europe, but also in North America and Asia Pacific, with offices in London, Paris, Munich and Zurich and affiliates in New York and Singapore.
We are looking for a results-driven, entrepreneurial team member who shares our passion for pushing their own limits to achieve the extraordinary.
Your Role
The Commercial Excellence Manager is accountable for developing and managing a best-in-class commercial engine - refining existing business development and marketing processes to drive increased target contact engagement, leads and opportunities.
- In collaboration with Partners and Directors, define and enhance the sales & marketing strategy – translating it into a actionable commercial plan with well-defined and measurable KPIs.
- Develop and implement a structured commercial pipeline, ensuring systematic lead qualification, nurturing, and conversion tracking to maximize commercial impact.
- Coordinate with diverse external service providers (i.e. content creators, web design, text editors, conference organizers, etc) and internal marketing support to lead the charge.
- Conduct regular commercial analysis, including pipeline leakage, to understand where further improvements are required.
- Own and optimize the CRM systems (HubSpot, Surfe), and provide actionable data-driven insights to enhance lead generation, drive account-based marketing and business development process excellence.
- Leverage CRM and external data sources including Pitchbook and Cognism, to identify and track key market trends, deals, and investment activities, equipping directors and partners with real-time insights to improve targeting and outreach.
- Drive high-impact business development initiatives, including identifying high-potential clients and coordinating structured outreach campaigns to engage key decision-makers.
- Build and anchor best-practice commercial processes with Partners/Directors that are effective and well adopted – hands on implementation required.
- Drive initiatives to enhance commercial effectiveness, including client segmentation, key account management, and data-driven upsell strategies to maximize client lifetime value and drive revenue growth.
- Orchestrate the execution of targeted ABM campaigns, aligning thought leadership content, digital marketing, and event strategies to strengthen Humatica’s market position and brand recognition.
- Oversee organization of commercial and networking events, ensuring strategic alignment with target clients and optimizing post-event engagement.
- Monitor and report on key business development and marketing performance metrics, providing data-backed recommendations to continuously refine sales strategies and improve conversion rates.

Your Profile
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing or commercial excellence, with proven examples of building a commercial engine from the ground up in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in a professional services environment such as Management Consulting or Private Equity, or with products and services that serve these segments.
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills, creativity in problem-solving, and a keen business sense.
- Strong experience with CRM and data-feed systems (e.g. HubSpot, Pitchbook, Cognism, …) and maintaining high-quality prospect data.
- Ability to assess and interpret market intelligence, deal activity and business development trends.
- Strong business acumen and understand of commercial strategy in a consulting environment to put their role in the context of Humatica’s business priorities.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a high level of self-awareness in a highly international context.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic - a self-starter, able to adapt and change in a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience supporting business development initiatives through data-driven insights and strategic marketing efforts.
