What the job does:

This role is responsible for supporting and assisting the Commercial teams in the management of the Hourglass Cosmetics across the UK & EMEA. The successful candidate will help to drive the businesses across stores and online whilst also liaising with retailers to deliver exciting launches and activations, maintain a strong brand position within the market and support the brand’s continued dynamic growth.

Role Accountabilities:

Sales reporting and analysis

  • Prepare and collate weekly sales reports, gathering and sharing key retail context, category information and individual store performance detail to identify retail opportunities
  • Support the Commercial Manager with core product, franchise and NPD performance analysis (MOBs) and reporting in order to drive the business forward
  • Keep abreast of retail and sales trends and activity, reporting back to the Commercial Manager to maximise opportunities across retailers.
  • Support Commercial team with presentations for internal and external meetings, including bi-annual Strategy Meetings presentations and set-up.

Trade Marketing

  • Own timely sell in of all new product launches, re-promotes, and brand initiatives, including the upload of master data into retailer portals and preparation of new line forms.
  • Work closely with internal departments and retail partners to plan and facilitate the successful launch of all NPD throughout the year.
  • Primary point of contact for all asset and product information requests from retailers.
  • Sample and collateral send outs for all retailer needs and marketing activations or events.
  • Ensure continuous and accurate updates of regional trade trackers and calendars.
  • Create and manage activity and event feedback to capture sales detail and share results with wider internal teams.
  • Support Commercial Manager with analysis and ROI of sampling, eventing and retail marketing initiatives. Use this analysis to consult the Commercial Manager on the most effective activation and initiatives to direct & shape future plans.

Retail

  • Cascade all launch and activation dates to the field team to ensure regional calendar alignment.
  • Monthly store visits with Area Managers to gain customer insights and enhance knowledge.
  • Conduct quarterly competitor analysis, keeping abreast of product launches, activations and trends.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in commercial, sales or retail marketing roles within the beauty or luxury sector
  • Passion for luxury beauty, with an understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour
  • Structured and organised but comfortable working with ambiguity, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment (we are still a fairly new company despite what you might think!)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive and action orientated
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
