The Role

Position: [Commercial Finance Analyst](Commercial Finance Analyst) Industry: Health, fitness & personal training Type: Permanent (30+ hours per week, hybrid: two days remote) Location: Global HQ (UK) or eligible for remote work

We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in helping the business make smarter, data-driven decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant, or a strong part-qualified professional, ready to transition into a commercially focused finance role. You’ll be a strategic player, influencing business performance across Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance by transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights.


What You’ll Do

As part of our Commercial Finance team, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver financial support and analysis, driving forward-thinking Business Performance insights.

  • Partner with stakeholders across various departments to provide commercial financial support and analysis
  • Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Produce insightful reporting and commentary for trading reviews and leadership meetings
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Deliver meaningful variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
  • Help build strong relationships with non-finance teams, explaining the financial impact of business decisions
  • Support business cases, commercial projects, and strategic initiatives through detailed financial analysis
  • Assess routes to improve reporting, dashboards, and financial models to enhance efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, AI, and technology

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be outgoing, analytical, and enjoy solving business problems using data. For this role, we’re seeking:

✔ Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, or strong part-qualified experience (e.g., 18–24 months into an accounting qualification) ✔ Previous experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Management Accounting, or Financial Analysis ✔ Excel expertise: Advanced skills and confidence using financial modelling tools ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—excelling in identifying commercial trends and performance drivers ✔ Exceptional communication skills to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders ✔ Precision-focused with high attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities ✔ Pace and adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment ✔ A passion for process improvement, particularly in reporting, strategies, and business performance ✔ Experience with a multi-site, international, retail/hospitality/fitness/service-led business (highly desirable) ✔ Hands-on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles ✔ Reporting tools, dashboards, or Business Intelligence platform experience ✔ Interest in AI, automation, and technology in finance to drive efficiencies
