Commercial Finance Analyst

London | Hybrid

This isn't a reporting role. It's an opportunity to become the commercial finance partner behind the decisions that drive a rapidly growing, multi-site business.

If you're someone who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers rather than simply reporting them, this is an opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing hospitality and real estate businesses.

Our client has built an impressive portfolio of hospitality-led real estate venues across the United Kingdom, with further expansion planned. As the business continues to scale, they're looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to become a key commercial partner, helping shape decisions across pricing, occupancy, budgeting, and future growth.

This is far more than a reporting role. You'll work closely with the CFO, Financial Controller, and senior leadership team, building financial models from the ground up, influencing commercial strategy, and providing insight that directly impacts business performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Develop pricing models and analyze commercial opportunities to maximize revenue across the property portfolio.
  • Produce scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling to support investment decisions, business cases, and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze occupancy, revenue, and profitability trends across multiple locations, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
  • Evaluate office reconfigurations, refurbishment projects, and Day 2 investment decisions through detailed financial analysis.
  • Deliver meaningful management information and dashboards that turn complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Work alongside operational teams to understand key business drivers and improve financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, modelling, and planning processes as the business continues to grow.
  • Support ad hoc commercial projects, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
