Amazon seeks a Commercial Finance Analyst to support its growing European Amazon
Advertising business.
Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and DSP solutions. We are breaking fresh ground and pioneering a crucial platform for future Amazon growth. We are entrepreneurial and have a bias for action with a broad mandate to experiment and innovate. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon.
The right candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for financial controllership, planning and analytical insights on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. They will conduct in depth analysis to uncover opportunities or risks and work closely with sales and product teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Weekly revenue and sales inputs reporting for various stakeholders, including sales and product teams
- Quarterly planning process with focus on Audio and Live Sports ad products
- Deep dive into insights to help drive sales team efforts where opportunities exist
- Support the development of rate cards and new advertiser incentives in collaboration with pricing, sales and product teams
- Automation of recurring reporting using AI

About the team
The EU Ad Sales Finance team supports the growing EU Ads business by partnering with the EU Ad Sales teams based in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. We work across ad products in the Amazon advertising ecosystem including Prime Video Ads, Prime Video Sports, Twitch, FireTV, OLV, Audio and more. This role is part of the Pricing & Product Finance team with a strong mandate to maximise the long-term growth of Amazon via optimised planning, performance reviews and pricing decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
