Commercial Finance Analyst

Interim Commercial Finance Analyst Role

About the Role

Manpower is seeking an Interim Commercial Finance Analyst to support Unilever’s Home Care Group (renowned for brands like Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple) in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role is currently based at Blackfriars on London’s Victoria Embankment, with a competitive contractual pay of up to £55,000 per annum (pro rata).

This is a full-time, temporary position (37.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri) running until end-Dec 2026. The role involves a mixed remote-onsite working model, subject to business needs.


Key Responsibilities

Driving Performance & Strategic Priorities

  • Conduct monthly month-end close and performance analysis for actuals vs. forecasts to:
    • Extract actionable insights
    • Identify “hot spots” and drive corrective actions
  • Develop and continuously improve an effective financial performance framework to track key KPIs with business units (BUs) and global partners
  • Support monthly/quarterly reporting/planning cycles, working closely with third-party service providers
  • Prepare/analyse business cases for major strategic projects and innovations within the Home Care Group (BG)
