This is a strong opportunity for someone with a finance or accountancy background who wants to build their experience in a commercially focused role. Sitting within the commercial finance function and reporting into senior finance leadership, this position offers broad exposure across reporting, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis, while working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

It searches the market for you

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The business operates in a fast-paced retail environment, so they need someone who is numerically strong, naturally curious and comfortable working across large volumes of data.

What will you be doing? Supporting weekly and monthly trade reporting, analysing sales, margin and stock performance Producing variance analysis and helping ensure data accuracy across reporting Supporting store P&Ls, KPI tracking and wider commercial performance analysis Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning activity Preparing overhead reports, accruals and departmental budget tracking Contributing to board packs, financial submissions and wider management reporting Supporting ad hoc analysis, projects and continuous improvement across reporting processes
