Commercial & Finance Assistant
Hours: 37.5 per week Location: Uxbridge
Are you looking to build your career in finance and commercial operations? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-driven Commercial & Finance Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and supporting a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Current Core Duties
- Prepare month-end commission flash reports
- Raise invoices and complete income reconciliations
- Report commission and payment activity to suppliers
- Reconcile supplier payment invoices
- Support group finance with key reconciliations
- Complete companywide credit card reconciliation and spot checks
- Allocate BACS payments and resolve related queries
- Reconcile suspense accounts
- Support audit queries in liaison with CBFP
- Maintain a live payment tracker for both internal and external stakeholders
- Process bordereaux payments to suppliers

Future Development Areas
- Take ownership of credit control across several business areas
- Support cost control across offices, including leases, business rates, utilities, and insurance
- Work with CBFP to monitor market trends and secure commercially advantageous deals
- Support ESG initiatives and assist in reporting key performance metrics

What We’re Looking For
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- High attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data
- Eager to learn and develop new skills
