Commercial & Finance Assistant

Hours: 37.5 per week Location: Uxbridge

Are you looking to build your career in finance and commercial operations? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-driven Commercial & Finance Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and supporting a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Current Core Duties

  • Prepare month-end commission flash reports
  • Raise invoices and complete income reconciliations
  • Report commission and payment activity to suppliers
  • Reconcile supplier payment invoices
  • Support group finance with key reconciliations
  • Complete companywide credit card reconciliation and spot checks
  • Allocate BACS payments and resolve related queries
  • Reconcile suspense accounts
  • Support audit queries in liaison with CBFP
  • Maintain a live payment tracker for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Process bordereaux payments to suppliers

Future Development Areas

  • Take ownership of credit control across several business areas
  • Support cost control across offices, including leases, business rates, utilities, and insurance
  • Work with CBFP to monitor market trends and secure commercially advantageous deals
  • Support ESG initiatives and assist in reporting key performance metrics
