We're looking for an exceptional Commercial Finance Director to join a leading media and marketing services agency.
This is a high-impact role leading on high profile client commercial partnering with senior leadership to help win new business, maximise profitability and drive sustainable growth.
You'll play a pivotal role in some of the company's most strategic commercial decisions—leading the financial aspects of major client pitches, developing innovative pricing strategies, negotiating complex commercial agreements and ensuring that growth opportunities deliver long-term value.
This is a role for someone who combines outstanding commercial acumen with strategic thinking, financial rigour and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders across an international organisation.
Commercial Finance Director - Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial finance support for major EMEA and collaborating on global client pitches and business development opportunities
- Develop competitive, commercially sound pricing models that balance client value with sustainable profitability
- Partner with business leaders to structure complex commercial deals and negotiate contract terms
- Provide strategic financial insight throughout the sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to contract execution
- Challenge assumptions, identify commercial risks and recommend practical solutions to optimise outcomes
- Work closely with Legal, Procurement, Operations and Client Leadership teams to ensure commercial proposals are robust and deliverable
- Drive consistency and best practice across pricing methodologies, commercial governance and approval processes
- Build financial models to evaluate investment decisions, client profitability and long-term commercial performance
- Support post-deal reviews to ensure financial assumptions are realised and lessons are embedded into future opportunities
- Present recommendations and commercial analysis to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders where required

Commercial Finance Director - Required Experience

- Must have significant commercial finance experience within advertising services, marketing services or media
- Experience supporting sales, business development or client leadership functions on large, strategic opportunities.
- Strong pricing, financial modelling and commercial negotiation experience
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and operating as a trusted business partner.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple high-value opportunities running simultaneously.
Commercial Finance Director - Package
- Salary £110,000 - £120,000 + bonus
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office
