💼 Commercial Finance Manager | PE-Backed B2B SaaS | High-Growth
I'm exclusively partnering with a PE-backed B2B SaaS business that has just closed a significant funding round and they're building the finance team to match.
My client is looking for a sharp, commercially minded Finance Manager to sit at the heart of the business. This isn't a back-office role. You'll be working directly with revenue owners, shaping how the business understands and drives growth.
What you'll be doing:
- Business partnering with revenue leaders on forecasting and commercial decision-making
- Owning KPI reporting across the business, with a focus on core SaaS metrics and recurring revenue
- Contributing to board and investor reporting, and management information packs
- Coordinating the periodic forecast cycle and business planning process
- Evaluating strategic projects, including potential acquisitions and new market entry
- Providing ad hoc analysis in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your work genuinely influences decisions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- 3–5 years of finance experience, with at least one year in a commercial finance role. If you're practice trained, this would be your second industry role rather than your first.
- Experience in a B2B recurring revenue or SaaS environment is a real advantage.
- You'll be a qualified accountant either ACA/ACCA/CIMA and comfortable across standard office and finance applications. PowerBI and Salesforce experience is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
