Commercial Finance Manager

Purpose of Position:
To manage, prepare, and evaluate insight-driven models and complex data. To drive commercial & strategic growth across the org. Take ownership of financial input & business partnering to drive actionable decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation, ownership, and management of models in relation to M&A and other investment-related scenarios; including elements of ROI, valuation, and sensitivity analysis.
- Lead the preparation of the consolidated Group LRP (long range plan) forecasts, and those of the individual Group entities, including at consolidated benefits level.
- Proactively work alongside Marketing to support B2B and partnerships deal evolution through ownership & evolution of underlying models to maximize profitability.
- Build & manage financial business cases to assess the impact of strategic initiatives to support prioritization of Product & wider Group resources.
- Finance team lead in the review and setting of pricing strategies to help maximize revenue & operating margins.
- Support CFO with review and management of short-term cash investments portfolio to maximize returns.
- Identify and evaluate waste-reduction strategies and cost-saving opportunities across the Group.
- Contribute to Group performance management helping to identify appropriate KPI measurements and assisting in the tracking metrics against targets.
- Act as a strong business partner and sounding board to key parties across the business to evaluate wide-ranging strategic opportunities & risks.
- Management & preparation of ad hoc analysis and presentations as required to the Board and Exec team.
- Setting of personal annual objectives, quarterly performance reviews, and regular 121s with CFO.
- The jobholder may be required to undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required of him/her including support of Group Financial Controller & Group FP&A Manager.

- Group Financial Controller, Group FP&A Manager, and other members of the Finance team.
- Regular contact with other Directors, senior managers, and departmental managers.
- Contact with external advisors and partners as appropriate.

Specific Skills:
Required (must have):
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA – Qualified
- Strong Business Partnering experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Proactive, problem solver, and open-minded
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable (nice to have):
- Experience in DTC & B2B subscriptions
- Good project management skills
- Experience with data visualization tools i.e. Power BI
