Join a £1bn+ Retail Business Where Finance Drives Change
This isn't a role for someone who simply reports the numbers.
We're partnering with a market-leading retail business generating over £1bn in revenue to recruit a high-performing Commercial Finance Manager. This is an opportunity to join a progressive, ambitious organisation with a fantastic culture, strong leadership, and a genuine appetite for change.
You'll thrive here if you're naturally curious, commercially minded, and enjoy solving complex business problems. We are looking for someone who challenges the status quo, influences decision-making, and takes ownership of finding solutions rather than simply highlighting issues.
This is a fast-paced, highly visible role where your work will directly influence operational performance, strategic initiatives, and commercial outcomes across the business.
The Opportunity
Partnering with senior business leaders, you'll act as a trusted advisor, bringing financial insight, commercial challenge, and strategic support to key business decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
