This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders to influence business decisions, improve performance, and support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, translating business strategy into robust financial plans while identifying risks, opportunities, and actions to improve performance.
  • Own the delivery of insightful financial reporting and variance analysis, using data to evaluate trading performance, customer trends, sales, margins, and investment returns.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build business cases, assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives, and provide clear, actionable recommendations that support commercial decision-making and maximise value creation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimise investment effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement across reporting and planning processes.
  • Leverage strong analytical skills and financial modelling expertise to simplify complex financial information into meaningful insights that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
