This key role is integral to supporting King’s Marketing team and the Finance Director, Marketing. You will partner closely with Marketing across Performance Marketing and broader brand, creative and campaign investment to provide financial insight, challenge and strategic support across King’s largest areas of investment.

Working alongside Commercial Finance Business Partners, Commercial Analytics and wider Finance teams, you will help shape forecasts, evaluate investment choices, and deliver insights that support stronger business outcomes across King’s marketing activity. The role will play an important part in building greater financial discipline, consistency and transparency across marketing planning, reporting and investment decision-making.

Your role within our Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted finance partner to Marketing, providing input on marketing strategy, investment decisions, campaign planning and allocation choices across regions, titles and channels.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Lead Marketing forecast reviews, shaping assumptions and working cross-functionally to ensure plans are ambitious, robust and grounded in sound financial logic. Support quarterly forecasts, annual planning and scenario analysis.
  • Performance Management: Track and analyse marketing investment, actuals, forecast movements and performance outcomes, highlighting risks, opportunities and areas requiring deeper analysis.
  • Investment Governance: Support clear marketing investment guardrails, ensuring material spend decisions are linked to strategic priorities, expected outcomes, ROI/payback considerations and appropriate measurement plans.
  • Insight & Challenge: Translate financial and marketing performance data into clear insights, constructively challenging assumptions to improve decision-making, optimise investment allocation and strengthen financial discipline.
  • Reporting Excellence: Help deliver consistent, high-quality Marketing Finance reporting across monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, investment performance and leadership updates, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and decision-focused.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Commercial Analytics and other areas of Finance to align assumptions, improve visibility of spend and commitments, and support one clear view of marketing investment performance.
  • Process & Tool Development: Support continuous improvement of Marketing Finance processes, models and reporting tools, including payback analysis, scenario modelling, forecast outputs and central finance resources.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
