Commercial Finance Manager

12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

A leading telecommunications organisation is seeking a commercially focused finance professional to join its high-profile Group Commercial Finance team.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior executives, including the CFO and wider leadership team, helping shape strategic decisions, evaluate major investment opportunities, and drive long-term business performance. The role offers significant exposure across multiple business units and provides the chance to influence some of the organisation's most important commercial and operational initiatives.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering commercial analysis, financial insight and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Leading and supporting large-scale transformation and performance improvement programmes.
  • Providing investment appraisal, valuation and business case support for strategic projects.
  • Developing long-term financial plans and programme strategies.
  • Partnering with senior leaders across finance, strategy, economics and operational functions.
  • Supporting enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at improving profitability and shareholder value.
  • Producing high-quality analysis to support regulatory, strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Building strong relationships across the business and acting as a trusted finance partner

About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded qualified accountant who can combine strong analytical skills with excellent stakeholder management.

You will likely have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis or business partnering experience.
  • Experience supporting strategic decision-making within a large or complex organisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • A proactive and consultative approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and lead change initiatives effectively.
