Commercial Finance Manager | VC-Backed FMCG Drinks Brand
Location: London - Hybrid
Salary: £70,000-£80,000 + Bonus
Position: Full-time
Talentedge is partnering with a fast-growing, VC-backed FMCG drinks brand that is entering an exciting stage of UK and international expansion.
Following significant investment and continued growth across retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels, the business is looking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Manager to strengthen its decision-making and help drive profitable growth.
This is a high-visibility role working closely with the CFO, founders and wider leadership team. You will provide robust commercial insight, challenge business assumptions and support strategic decisions across sales, marketing, operations and supply chain.
The Role
- Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across the business
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on customer performance, promotional activity and brand investment
- Deliver detailed margin analysis across products, customers and channels
- Assess pricing, promotional effectiveness, trade spend and new product launches
- Build commercial models to support growth initiatives and strategic decisions
- Improve reporting and provide clear commentary on business performance
- Lead regular forecasting and performance reviews with budget holders
- Support cashflow, working capital and inventory planning
- Develop scalable reporting tools, dashboards and financial processes
- Provide financial insight for Board and investor reporting
- Support the CFO with ad hoc projects, fundraising analysis and international expansion

About You
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering experience
- Experience within FMCG, food and drink, consumer products, retail or a similar fast-paced environment
- Commercially curious and confident challenging senior stakeholders
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Comfortable working with large datasets and translating analysis into clear recommendations
- Able to operate effectively within an entrepreneurial, rapidly scaling business
- Experience with retail customers, promotional analysis, trade spend or product margins would be advantageous
