Commercial, Finance & RGM Lead - Taste Elevation
Job Description We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Commercial, Finance and RGM Lead to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role lies within the UKI business unit, reporting into our Taste Elevation & Masterbrand Marketing & Commercial Director as part of our Growth team. Owning the 450M$ Net Sales P&L for the Taste Elevation category (TK , Mayo & Flavors, Pasta Sauces & Hidden Gems) and delivering the in-year top & bottom line as well as market share targets will be your primary goal. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders! What you’ll do Build & deliver the 3-year plan for the Taste Elevation category across all its levers: customer specific sales initiatives, revenue management, innovation and operational efficiencies. The main KPIs tracked will be Net Sales, Gross Profit and Market Share. Own the strategic agenda to devise and manage the implementation of commercial plans across all customers – ensuring profitable delivery of the budget while delivering to retailer needs. Own the category financial forecast for the year in partnership with the sales finance team, understanding drivers and building plans based on the implications for the future to optimize our category’s KPIs. Own building category budget for following year and tracking of delivery/action plan in year to ensure the delivery of the set KPIs. Build a high performing commercial & finance team of 7, contributing to their growth and motivation As the right arm of the Marketing & Commercial Director, you are a key member of the Taste Elevation Leadership Team and play an important role in the collaboration and culture in the team Targets: internal (volume, NSV and GP) and external (share and penetration) What you’ll need Work Experience: Guideline 10+ years working in Commercial/Sales or RGM functions, ideally including some customer-facing experience and sustained FMCG commercial exposure. Knowledge: Strong understanding of RGM concepts/strategy and how to apply them; Advanced negotiation/commercial skills (JBPs, day-2-day negotiation, etc.); Strong financial acumen and full understanding of commercial P&L. Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Professional Attributes Commercial & financial acumen Commercial and financial awareness are required along with the judgement, and skill to identify, negate and take commercial decisions, often under significant time pressure Analytical skills and scenario planning are essential in order to develop meaningful business plans; forecast effectively; carry out financial analysis; carry out promotional evaluation in order to provide solid management and decision-making information You demonstrate a passion for the consumer and a genuine curiosity for the customer, thinking of innovative solutions to drive performance. You’re always seeking for opportunities to expand the business, create savings, and over-deliver your targets. You don’t only focus on your own results, but also do what’s best for the company. Resilience & ability to pushback You’re able to recover after a disappointment or set back, and a demanding and dynamic environment is what keeps you energized. You’re not easily thrown off your game, and can respectfully pushback when you get resistance. Interpersonal skills and high personal credibility is required to build relationships between external customers and internal functions to align both requirements and resolve issues (ability to communicate, present and influence). Ability to Simplify You know how to translate complex data into a creative solution that can be communicated simply & clearly to all levels of stakeholders. Team leadership Able to harness & drive a talented & diverse team across Commercial/Category & Finance/Revenue Management towards one collective ambition & delivery.
