About the Role

My client, a sub-contract HVAC Engineering specialist, is recruiting for a Senior Gas Engineer with Supervisory experience with both Commercial and Domestic Gas Tickets or experience. You will be based around the North and West London areas as well as some work in Hertfordshire covering their mixed commercial portfolio. This is a permanent full-time role, with a clear career path and fast track into management. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include

  • The role is to assist the Operations Director with regards to Combustion servicing and remedial works across London and Northern Home Counties.
  • Working mainly in large residential blocks, commercial offices, and schools providing commercial gas boiler maintenance, repairs, and minor installation works.
  • The vast majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated equipment; hence a working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems is essential.
  • Routine mechanical maintenance of associated plant items such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and valves will also form part of the role.
  • This will include the servicing of Combustion Appliances and associated plant together with the production information for quotations for extra works.
  • Produce conditional and dilapidation reports, as requested.
  • Ensure standard of work is of a high level and compliant to relevant combustion regulations and company policies.
  • Responsibilities will also include being a member of the On-call Rota for the region.
