Commercial Heating Engineer

Lime Heating is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing heating solutions to our diverse range of commercial and industrial clients. Your expertise will be crucial in installing, maintaining, and repairing sophisticated heating systems across various commercial properties, ensuring peak efficiency, reliability, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. As a key member of our team, you'll be dedicated to meeting our clients' heating needs while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, technical skill, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair various commercial heating systems, including boilers, pumps, valves, controls, and their components.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of commercial heating systems to identify faults, malfunctions, or potential issues.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex heating system problems, offering accurate cost estimates to clients.

  • Implement repairs, replacements, or installations of heating system parts, complying with safety and quality standards.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to enhance system performance and prevent breakdowns.

  • Work closely with clients to understand and meet their specific heating needs, offering professional advice and recommending suitable solutions.

  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.

  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to commercial heating systems.

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and effective communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation (Industrial and Commercial Installation).

  • Gas Safe Registration, with COCN1 commercial core gas safety qualification or equivalent.

  • Commercial Boiler Certificate.

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Commercial Heating Engineer in commercial and industrial settings.

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial heating systems and their components.

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex heating system issues.

  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Design and Commissioning of Environmental Technology Systems (Heat Technology Pathway).

  • IPAF Certification.

  • Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating Certificate.

  • Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems Certificate.

  • CSCS Card.

  • Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) qualifications.
