At WHSmith our people are at the heart of everything we do. They are the ones that go the extra mile for our customers, the ones that enable our growth. We're looking for a Commercial Insights Lead to support the delivery of retail media campaign reporting. This role is responsible for producing clear, actionable post-campaign reports that demonstrate the value delivered for brands, and for building out insights that support pitch decks and future campaign activity. • Translate campaign performance into clear recommendations and next steps to inform future campaign activity
  • Work closely with the planning team to understand reporting requirements for specific brand campaigns
  • Prioritise reporting workload effectively to deliver post-campaign reports on time
  • Work closely with the Brand Activations Exec on presentation requirements for brands, ensuring briefs are shared on time and in full
  • Identify and build out insights for use in pitch decks, supporting the wider sales and planning teams
  • Support the commercial buying, media and trade planning teams with insight requests as directed
  • Flag opportunities to automate reporting processes, working with internal data and insights teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
