About Platformation:
Platformation is a sports sponsorship valuation agency that helps rights holders, brands and agencies understand the true value of their sport and entertainment partnerships. Combining advanced analytics with decades of sponsorship expertise, the business delivers independent, evidence-based insight that supports confident commercial decision-making.
Working across some of the most high-profile sponsorships in global sport, Platformation combines media valuation, market research and proprietary technology to help clients understand sponsorship performance, maximise return on investment and make better commercial decisions.
As Platformation continues its evolution from a consultancy-led business into a technology-driven platform, it is looking to appoint a Commercial Insights Manager to play a key role in both client delivery and the development of its analytical capabilities.
The Impact You'll Make:
Platformation is looking for a Commercial Insights Manager to operate at the intersection of commercial consulting, data analytics and technology during an exciting phase of business growth.
Working with rights holders, brands and agencies across the global sports industry, you will partner with clients to understand their commercial objectives, translate them into analytical briefs, and collaborate with specialist Data Analysts to deliver meaningful insight that supports major sponsorship and commercial decisions.
This is a broad, hands-on role that combines client relationship management, commercial insight and analytical thinking. You'll interpret complex datasets, present evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders, and help clients make more informed commercial decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
