Job Title
COMMERCIAL INSURANCE BROKER & SALES EXECUTIVE
Location: Cheltenham
Hybrid working. Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working with a fantastic and unique Insurance broker in the Cheltenham area with a modern office, great training and prospects, and a lovely team to work with.
They are looking to recruit 1 experienced Commercial Insurance sales advisor and 1 Insurance account handler to help manage client relationships. You will have experience in new business or account handling within the insurance industry.
The majority of clients are commercial SMEs. You should have at least a year’s general insurance experience and ideally have used Acturis, but this is not essential. You should also have an up-to-date knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority requirements including Treating Customers Fairly and an understanding of the UK Insurance market.

Sales Exec
- Responsible for prospecting and securing new clients
- Speaking with clients and providing solutions to establishments over the phone/video call/in person.
- Attending relevant key conferences to generate new opportunities.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems.
- Identifying opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the cross-sell process.
Account Handler
- Looking after existing Commercial Insurance customers including renewals and MTAs
- Supporting the wider team with managing relationships with key partners.
- Working with new business to provide an excellent customer experience.
- To provide insurance to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.

You will need to be able to commute to Cheltenham 3 days a week and have the relevant UK Insurance experience.
