We're looking for a Commercial Intern to join our team on a 6 month FTC. Based at our Paddington you'll work alongside experienced commercial professionals to gain practical experience in the nuclear industry, supporting the Commercial team in delivering market intelligence research, data analysis, reporting writing, and supporting with project activities and quality management initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Support the preparation of various commercial and market intelligence reports, statements, presentations, and performance metrics.
- Support the research and monitoring of market trends, industry developments, advanced fuels, and emerging business opportunities.
- Participate in project meetings and track actions as required, contributing ideas for improving efficiencies and effectiveness across the commercial function.
- Help identify opportunities to improve document management processes, workflows and ways of working across the Commercial function.

What do you need to thrive in this role?
The candidate should be working towards, or have recently completed, a higher education qualification and demonstrate strong analytical, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in commercial, energy, nuclear, or industrial markets.
- Excellent written presentation skills.
- MS Office user, with Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of how to verify data and check for accuracy is desirable but not essential.

Security vetting
Due to the nature of the industry that Urenco operates in, all personnel regardless of employment status working for Urenco are required to obtain security clearance at the level required for their role. Security clearances are assessed in accordance with regulations and official guidance issued by the relevant competent authorities for national security vetting. In certain circumstances, additional enhanced security clearance considerations apply to roles within Urenco owing to the particular activities that the Urenco Group undertakes in relation to uranium enrichment. Successful candidates will need to satisfy security requirements, and all offers of appointment are made subject to the successful approval of all checks initiated.
