You will leverage your expertise to drive strategy, governance, and execution of high-impact transformation programmes across CIB Operations, fostering cross-functional alignment between the Front Office, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Business Management. Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, ensure timely delivery of business outcomes, and provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and value.

We seek: a strategic, execution-focused leader with disciplined governance, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional transformations in a global context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operationalise delivery plans by defining clear milestones, dependencies, success metrics, and maintaining rigorous executive reporting.
  • Establish effective governance (AMLs, operating rhythms, decision cadences) to drive accountability, transparency, and rapid decision-making. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Proactively manage delivery health across all initiatives by tracking progress, adoption, benefits realisation, risks, issues, dependencies, and controls, with timely escalation where necessary.
  • Develop executive-ready communications—including materials, readouts, and decision papers—that clearly articulate:
    • Progress and challenges
    • Key trade-offs
    • Issues requiring attention
    • Decisions required
    • Recommended action
  • Lead cross-functional coordination by:
    • Building alignment among stakeholders
    • Clarifying roles and responsibilities
    • Driving follow-through across teams
  • Support thought leadership and special projects in areas such as:
    • Workforce of the Future
    • Skills development and learning
    • Internal communications and colleague engagement
    • Value/ROI measurement
    • Crafting crisp narratives and executive-ready artefacts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
