Objective
Provide strategic commercial leadership across the company, advising on pricing, contracts, T&Cs, and commercial strategy for hardware and software products, ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals across multiple geographies.
Requirements
- Commercial Strategy: Experience in a commercial or business development role within technology, cybersecurity, or infrastructure sectors.
- Pricing & Business Models: Expertise in designing pricing strategies for hardware/software solutions, subscription models, licensing, or managed services.
- Contract Management: Strong understanding of commercial contracts, terms & conditions, and negotiations. Able to work closely with legal advisors to shape agreements.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Experience advising executive teams, product managers, and sales teams on commercial decisions.
- Geographical Awareness: Knowledge of UK market regulations and commercial practices, with the ability to advise on international/geographical nuances as needed.
- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Comfortable reviewing financial models, forecasts, margin analysis, and cost structures to inform decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Able to work closely with legal, finance, sales, and product teams to ensure commercial strategies are implemented effectively.

Preferred Experience
- Experience with government, defence, or critical infrastructure contracts, including familiarity with SC/DV clearance requirements.
- Knowledge of international contracting frameworks and regional commercial regulations.
- Previous involvement in joint ventures, partnerships, or strategic alliances.
- Understanding of risk management, compliance, and commercial governance in regulated industries.
- Professional qualifications: CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent commercial/business certifications.
- Experience with RFI/RFP and tender processes in technology or secure infrastructure sectors.
