About XYZ Reality
XYZ Reality are the creators of the world's first and only engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution, purpose-built for the construction industry. Beyond just developing The Atom — a smart, site-safe headset/hardhat — they implement this holographic technology on projects, leveraging AR to deliver schemes aligned with timescales and budgets.
XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe, working with mission-critical organisations and construction companies to drive major project success.
The Role
XYZ Reality is hiring three Commercial Leads — across the US and Europe — to bridge the gap between construction delivery and data-driven commercial intelligence.
This role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of experience in the commercial management of large-scale programmes. You must have a deep understanding of cost structures, ability to manage high-value portfolios (hundreds of millions to billions), and fluency in commercial communication across all stakeholder levels—from construction teams to investors and lenders.
Here, you won’t just track costs—you’ll shape industry standards by defining new commercial frameworks and collaborating with Data Scientists to build insights that transform cost performance. This is a rare chance to redefine how the industry approaches money management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
