We are looking for a Commercial Lead for a 12-month cover, based in our London office 3 days a week. You will be responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth across the region by strengthening commercial governance and ensuring channel strategies are fit for purpose. This role drives the end-to-end commercial framework across EMEA, translating strategy into clear, actionable guidance for country teams.
The role acts as a strategic partner to regional and local leadership, providing data-driven insights, recommendations, and risk & opportunity assessments to maximize ROI and enable disciplined execution.

Annual Commercial Cycle Leadership & Commercial Strategy
- Drive the Annual T&C cycle (RTC) across EMEA, ensuring consistency, rigor, and alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Drive ROI maximization through stronger commercial controls, pricing discipline, and investment prioritization.
- Enable faster market activation by simplifying processes and accelerating approvals.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Legal to ensure compliant, value-creating commercial terms.
- Continuously evaluate channel performance and recommend adjustments to maximize growth and profitability, working closely with the EMEA Retail Accounts Director.
Commercial Project & Programme Management
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional commercial projects and initiatives across EMEA (e.g. Retailer launches, go-to-market programmes, onboarding of new direct relationships), ensuring clear ownership, defined milestones, and on-time delivery.
- Build and maintain project governance structures for key commercial workstreams, including milestone tracking, risk and issue management, and structured stakeholder reporting.
- Drive regular commercial review cadences, ensuring decisions, actions, and owners are documented and followed through across the region.
- Act as project manager for centrally led commercial initiatives, aligning and coordinating across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to deliver against agreed timelines and objectives.

EMEA Key Account Central Support
- Partner with the Sales Analyst to develop and maintain standard KA reporting and insight packs, equipping country commercial and sales leads with clear visibility of Key Account performance, risks, and opportunities on a regular cadence.
- Support country teams in diagnosing Key Account performance gaps and growth opportunities by providing central analytical frameworks, diagnostic tools, and commercial guidance.
- Act as the central point of expertise for Key Account commercial best practice, synthesising learnings from across EMEA markets and ensuring high-performing approaches are shared and adopted by country teams.
- Coordinate centrally driven promotional programmes across EMEA Key Accounts in partnership with Marketing, ensuring activities are brand-aligned, commercially sound, and timed for maximum impact, and evaluating promotional ROI post-activation.
New Channels & Growth Opportunities
- Identify and size new channel opportunities across EMEA.
- Develop clear playbooks for entry, activation, and scaling of new channels.
- Define success metrics, commercial models, and governance requirements for new channel launches, supporting the onboarding of new customers as required.
- Partner with country teams to support pilots and scaling decisions.
Your Profile
- 8–10+ years in commercial, sales strategy, or general management roles, ideally in a multi-country EMEA environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of Key Account Management, channel strategy, and commercial governance.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional commercial projects or programmes, with strong organisational and delivery discipline.
- Strong track record of driving ROI, pricing discipline, and commercial effectiveness across a multi-market environment.
- Strong strategic and analytical capability with the ability to turn insight into action.
- Deep understanding of channel dynamics, Key Account management, and retailer relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across a multi-market, matrixed environment.
- Comfortable balancing central control with local empowerment.
- Clear, structured communicator with strong executive presence.
- Proven project management capability — comfortable owning workstreams, tracking milestones, and driving cross-functional accountability to deadline.
